A little insight. Less data.

This portfolio collects limited, first-party traffic analytics to understand how visitors discover the site. It records homepage views, an anonymous browser-tab session identifier, visit times, approximate country/city/region when provided by the hosting network, broad device and browser categories, and the referring website’s hostname.

It does not store raw IP addresses, names, email addresses, precise coordinates, full user-agent strings, referral paths, search terms, or URL query strings. The host processes connection metadata to deliver the site and may use IP information to estimate location; the portfolio analytics database does not retain that IP.

A random identifier is saved in your browser’s session storage. It expires after 30 minutes without analytics activity and is scoped to that browser tab. It is not an account or a reliable identifier of a person. Closing the tab normally clears it. No analytics cookies or third-party tracking scripts are used.

Analytics are skipped when your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control. Signed-in activity from the portfolio owner and recognized crawler user agents is excluded. Location is approximate and can be affected by VPNs or mobile networks.

The private dashboard shows a rolling window of up to 90 days. Older records are removed in bounded batches as new visits arrive. The dashboard is restricted to the owner’s authenticated ChatGPT account. Analytics began when this feature was published; it cannot reconstruct earlier visits.
